Bio
Born in Reggio Emilia in 1965, Andrea holds a degree in economics and commerce from the University of Parma, is a chartered accountant and enrolled in the Register of Auditors held at the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
He started his career at Axis in 1990, where he mainly worked on statutory audits for statutory and consolidated financial statements of commercial companies, cooperatives, holding companies and international groups, with both Italian and international accounting standards (IAS/IFRS), in the manufacturing, mining, real estate and service sectors.
Andrea has also held important positions in due diligence projects, M&A, IAS/IFRS implementation, and analysis and evaluation of management control reporting.
A partner of Axis since 1993, he is responsible for human resources.
From 2008 to 2016, Andrea was a member of the Commission for the Study and Statement of Auditing Standards at the National Council of Chartered Accountants (CNDCEC).
From 2008 to 2012, he was a member of the CNDCEC task force for the revision of the English version and scientific supervision of the Italian translation of the IFAC guides “Quality Control in Small and Medium-Sized Professional Firms” and “Use of International Auditing Standards in the Auditing of Small and Medium-Sized Firms”.”
Since 2010, he has been a member of the scientific board of several professional journals, for which he has written several articles.
He has been a member of the ASSIREVI Auditing Standards Research Group since 2011.
Andrea currently participates as a speaker in seminars and courses on auditing and accounting standards, on behalf of various training organisations.
